MGD-1 Gate coating compound are formulted to insulated the entrance suregace of the mold and protect the molten lead alloys from temperature variation, froms sticky lead drip lets which cause an uneven flow of molten lead into a grid mold. Mold Gate Compound are shipped in semi-liquid from and have shelf life upto six months when kept at room termperatire in their original packaging.
